Help with earwig control

We have been having problems with our vegetables leaves getting eaten over the last few weeks, and a couple nights ago discovered that there were hundreds of earwigs all over everything at night.

We tried beer traps, vegetable oil traps all to no avail.

What can I use to get rid of these bugs?

I heard that vinegar will deter them, but i don't know if that would be good for your garden.

Earwig Control in the Garden

I have heard that they like moist places - for example if you have problems with them around your house it's recommended that you put in areas of gravel that will drain and dry out better. If it's possible maybe try letting the dirt dry out well before you water again -- or if you have mulch remove some of the mulch only until it dries out and then replace. Maybe they will move on to somewhere more moist.
