Flower bed void

Today my landscaper started removing some shrubs from the flower bed that I’m restoring. Well he removed one and we noticed about 2 feet of void under the slab of the house. Do I fill it with dirt or concrete? I have no gutters so rain water could have washed it away? There is no cracking in the foundation, walls or outside brick.

Re: Flower bed void

It has dirt everywhere else so just fill it back with dirt and pack it in with a piece of pipe until absolutely no more will go in under there. Check on it in a week or so and if you are rested pack it some more.
