The hose end sprayer is probably the easiest to use if you have a hose long enough to reach the area. I have a 15 gal sprayer that gets towed behind my mower that gets used for weed killer and insecticide. If you can't find the hose end version, get one of the 2 gal pump up sprayers that you can put your own mix in. They are much nicer that the crappy ones you get with the pump up packaging at the store.

How big an area do you need to spray? One other thing, if it is in your neighbor's lawn as well, you will have a hard time keeping it from coming back unless they kill it off as well.

Took about a week for it to start showing results when I did it. The CC started to turn brown on the edges and started to shrivel up. Kind of depends on how much rain you get.
