Question

Big poles with spikes on the end, anyone know what they are?

In my shed I found some poles with spikes on the end. They are long poles at least several feet and very thick. A cross section is weird it's like a hexagon or something, not a circle.

A picture is attached, anyone know what they are?

Yep old military or Boy Scout tent poles. If they are good solid shape, find a tarp company to make you the type of tent you want. You will also have to learn how to tie the proper knots, so you can secure the spike on top, from falling over.

Those are old (and I mean OLD) tent or canopy stakes.

Not really Dr Hicks. I remember my brother's Boy Scout troop using them in the 70's. We used them in the 80's, when I was in the Weeblo's and went camping with the Boy Scout's.

The Civil War Renactors are always looking for parts to replace work out items, or replace broken parts. I bet there is one around that would take them.
