Any suggestions for a red finish on treated lumber pergola?

So I'm doing some major work in the yard this year. One of my plans is a pergola made with treated lumber. I had planned to stain prior to assembly, but apparently the pt needs to dry out. Anyway, I really want a rich red finish that is somewhat durable. Has anybody had major success with red stain and pt wood?

Pictures of your success story with red stain would be awesome. But I would be grateful for for input from those who have actually tried or done it.

Never tried it and I would think it's tough to do, given the green tint of the treatment. I would think it would take a solid body stain if not paint to cover.

I would talk to the maintenance department of your local City Parks , or local B L M maintenance to see what it is that they use on those picnic shelters that they erect in the parks / woods, for us taxpayers to use.

Here most of them are reddish tinted, and I'm sure made from PT wood.

I have known several youths that had summer jobs maintaining these areas.

Now that's pretty clever. I've seen those red shelters too. Thanks.
