Window question in a bath remodel

This might be an odd question but I'm remodeling a bathroom. I've decided to close off the window and tile the whole wall with a mural. My concern is heat and/or moisture buildup so I'm thinking it would be a good idea to insulate and put a couple small vent holes between the window cavity and attic. If anyone has either done this or opened a closed off window cavity, I'd appreciate your thoughts or suggestions.

This is a block home in central Florida

Thanks
Phil

Wall cavities are usually sealed---so there is no need to drill vent holes--

Make sure the tile backer board is waterproofed so no moisture can get behind the backer--

What type wall? Block, stick built?
What's on the outside for siding?
Got a picture so we can see what your seeing, no close ups needed.
Got to agree with Mike, that hole in the wall where the window came out should have been finished out before any inside work was done.
How it gets finished depends on how the wall was built.
