Undermounting 32" sink into 30" cabinet

I'm purchasing a sink for a kitchen remodel & want to go as large as I can. The cabinet is 30", but the supplier told me that since I'm going to undermount it I can get a 32" sink, provided the inner-bowl is max. 30". He said it's done pretty often. My general contractor seems to think it'd work, but I want to get some more opinions before I buy. Any thoughts?

It's done all the time------the counter top guys will have a job attaching the clips--but it can be done.

Yes it can be done.

Installer will need to take extra precautions sealing the front rim, less room to seal so it needs extra care, as well as a slight different attachment process.

ENJOY THE EXTRA SIZE.

Re: Undermounting 32" sink into 30" cabinet

My sink was oversized for my cabinet... once we cut away some material it fit just fine.. they did a poor job on the install thou and eventually it start to pull away from the slab..

I got myself some of these.. http://www.2daydeliver.com/product_d...=SKUB00YO4TNME and believe it or not they have held up for years now..

so go for it..
