Is there a way to repair/replace a rotted window sash?

2 back windows are rotted at the bottom. Is there a way to fix these? Can I take them somewhere to have them fixed like a carpenter? I saw a video on youtube where the guy built a new sash but I'd rather not do it myself especially that this is a double pane window. Wondering who to hire for this as window repair companies usually just repair the glass and seals, not the wood.

I am not sure I would even attempt to repair that--looks like you need a new window in my opinion.

It can be repaired. The bottom would need to be removed and a board cut to match what came off [including rabbit or dado] Finding someone to do the job will be a lot harder than finding someone to replace the window.

Yep. As Mark Sr. said. What is the breadth of your carpentry skills?

Not too good but I guess I'll give it a try.

There are companies that make replacement sash, if the rest of the wood is sound.

Some knot free wood, a table saw and a bit of thinking should get the job done. A planner or good sander will help.
