Is anyone familiar with what adhesive is used with soap stone counter or sink construction?

Little late reply, but when I bought the stones, the supplier gave a can of black epoxy - with a hardener. 1" kitchen countertop, laid directly on the base cabinets with silicon. The joints did not fail over 10 years. I assume the sink will be made the same way.
I liked the soapstone, but I would use it only for my last house. It took almost those 10 years to darken.
