Shower door

On our shower door, the bottom frame does not sit on the tub cleanly. Water gets underneath, and causes a build-up. Is there a certain type of chaulking I can use to seal it and hold it down also??
Thanks
Barry

The frame should have been setting in a bed of silicone.
There is no way to attach the frame to the tub it's self.

It is, but with it moving, when you press down on it, it doesn't seal well

If someone cut it to long it's going to bow.

Time for more silicone---cleaning up the crud will be needed---

use a thin knife blade and clean under the loos bottom track---
'then swab with alcohol--

apply clear silicone---
spray quickly with greased lightning--(keep the excess from sticking and smearing to the tub and track)
wipe off excess--

take doors off ..take header off ..remove side rails...cut old caulking out and lift bottom track, proceed by cleaning old caulking off bottom track and tub surface.....check and make sure bottom track is cut to proper length...if it is apply a bead of silicone on bottom track install on tub and tape it down leave it cure...reinstall other parts caulk were needed ...job finished...

Did any of that advice mention bottom track might be setting on a threshold out of plumb with door or visa versa? Rarely are they perfect but doors are easily adjustable for such) AND... that the threshold (I prefer a solid strip of corian or marble) needs to tilt in... Towards the inside of shower so water doesn't stand on it, but drains in.
