Sharing bathroom exhaust duct

I have two bathrooms that share a wall. The master bathroom has an exterior wall with a window - no exhaust fan. The other bathroom has an exhaust fan that terminates on the roof. I'm remodeling the master bathroom and want to install an exhaust fan. Any problem going up into the attic and teeing off the existing exhaust duct for the master bathroom? The existing duct looks to be about 4" diameter. Thanks

Major code violation. Being pressurized, it could back feed to the off fan/bathroom.

I kinda suspected it couldn't be that easy...looks like another hole in the roof.

Re: Sharing bathroom exhaust duct

Not worth it. You would need to up size the duct where they connected anyways.
