Hi,trying to do a remodel/fix budget bathroom,any ideas are welcomed.
What would you do if it was your bathroom need help on this project.
You can watch the video and know what I'm talking about.I would not touch the toilet if I don't need to, replace/fix the floor,I have two bathrooms we don't use this one.its a 2 story condominium we are 2nd floor do I need permit from town Massachusetts?.How much would cost me if contractor would do it?.Thank You in advance

The bathroom is dated and damaged. I do it for a living, and can only recommend that you take it all back to studs and subflooring and start fresh. Too much damage to deal with on a piecemeal basis. The walls behind the shower, I'll bet are sheetrock, which will need replacing with proper backer.

Since it is a DIY site, I would recommend you make plans to do it yourself rather than hiring a contractor, but it would be your call. Pricing? You would need 3 local estimates to be accurate if that is the way to go.

I didn't have an issue with it cutting straight. It was more the chipping that I had an issue with which is why I asked about the type of blade to use.

Go slower. I think i have always used a diamond blade in the past.
