remodel estimate software

I have been using the free eagle view estimate platform that Home Depot was providing for free . It was a nice way to render some quick estimate and they could produce a nice invoice, and kept a list of past invoices .
but they have discontinued the service . Are there any similar estimate services that are under $500 that any one is using ?
I also have the Craftsman National Estimate program ,but it only generates invoices in Quick Books and is a little to detailed for my purposes

Have you been keeping track of the your jobs/cost etc..

You can take previous estimates and make a few changes and have a new estimate and name to save time.
You can change the current program prices/wages/overhead/etc. to meet your needs.
You can simplify things by making what is called systems. This takes the complete totals and puts them in place then all you have to do is to add the quantity.

In the Craftsman program the job cost function requires Quick Books
the estimate functions in Eagleview were easier for me to to manipulate as opposed to using the menu in Craftsman

Click the show me tips....

You do not need to use the Quick books portion, just the estimate and job cost wizard.
There are several ways to make changes, so the more you read and watch the tips etc..
