no moulding under window sill?

My tile guy told me that I should not put any moulding under my window sill in my bathroom because the decorative tile listello runs right underneath it. Is he right? It just seems like it's lacking something. The sill just seems to be too thin.

That's called an apron, and it's not need when you had the tile installed.
Looks good to me.

its fine. and much easier for the tile installer to just go right up to the window sil. its done all the time in bathrooms and in kitchens with tile backsplashes

I guess it will just take some getting used to.

How about replacing the sill with a thicker one to (somewhat) account for the missing apron?

It's your house so you certainly don't have to "get use to it". If you want a piece of trim there then do it. You can glue up a piece right to the tile.
