So we would like to remodel our bath. Problem? I have an old 6 ft cast iron tub i am unwilling to move or part with. Ok, so a few years ago my husband added a shower. We have to use a circular shower bar with 2 shower curtains, the kind you use in a claw foot tub. The problem lies that picture this, where your head lies in the tub, above it is a window. There is a about a 2 ft gap between the tub and window where my husband built a stand for towels. Now the shower curtain has worked fine, but we really want to update and get shower doors, enclosure. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can acheive this with that dam window being there? I don't want to cover window as the light and cool breeze are great. I will not move or part with the tub. So if we build a wall to enclose the tub for a full functioning shower door, we essentially will block the window. UGH! Nothing in this home has been easy, a real fixer upper! We are willing to do any work, just need a great idea to help us acheive our goals. Any ideas would be most welcome! Thanks!
