Metal stud construction needs noise reduction

Not sure this is the right place for this so if it's not, apologies.

Bought a steel frame constructed house and we're having serious issues with noise transmission.

My end goal is to be able to run saws in the garage and not have them be heard in the adjoining master bedroom. Currently, you can hear the sound of voices in the garage from the MB. Put your ear against the wall and you can make out words sometimes. It's horribly noisy.

I've looked at a few options like different types of insulation, taking down the drywall on the garage side putting eggshell foam in the cavities, hanging cotton towels stretched over wood frames on the walls, hanging wafer board, etc. but I'm not sure any of it will work which is why I need some feedback. I've also recently discovered resilient channel but I can't seem to find an answer as to its effectiveness with metal studs.

I'm not looking to break the bank, but I would love to not structure my project time around nap/bed time.

Thanks in advance

What does the wall construction consist of that is there now. You are going to be looking at, at least, offset wall, double drywall, etc.

Might need to add some "sound bar" ( Z bar) and another layer of drywall.

Windows, thank you very much for the link. Lot of good info in there. Base on the link it doesn't sound like much of anything is in the wall cavity but I haven't actually looked. We've owned this house for a year now and the the more I learn about it, I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was nothing in there.

JL, thanks for the recommendation. I'll so some research.
