Marble floor on outdoor patio in Florida

We have been working with a pool and tile contractor and they suggested marbel tiles (since we like light colors) by our pool and patio. I am concerned about marble being slippery so they suggested a sealer with grip to reduce slipperiness. I have children so I am not sure it will be good enough but I love the look. What do you think?

If you're talking about honed or polished marble, it's a bad idea. As for the non-slip sealer, that's great if you do the regular maintenance, as carefully and regularly as a resort maintenance crew.
