Laundry Room Remodel

Hi there,

I currently have this in my kitchen:

I would like to renovate myself to this:

I was hoping someone could give me a step by step of all the steps I need to do to do this properly. Please pay attention to the pocket cabinet doors on the laundry cabinets.
I also have more space in my house so I would probably just extend the counter space or use it as a pantry. Any ideas are welcome.

Thank you,

Rich

Re: Laundry Room Remodel

When I ask for a step by step, what I mean is what do I measure first or do I need to make sure plumbing and outlets are at specific distances? Mainly my questioning surrounds how to make the cabinets with countertop? I don't even know where to start with that?

For your specifics on plumbing and electrical you can buy a laminated basic code book for both at any box store. Did you figure out your cabinets and counter?

Re: Laundry Room Remodel

Both appliances in your new laundry room need there own dedicated electrical circuits. Manufacturers' booklets will give you the information about the voltage and other technical data. A gas dryer will need a new gas line. The washing machine will also need both hot and cold water lines connected to it.

if you don't know much about plumbing and electrical, probably would be better to hire that out, then replace the drywall,if you had to open up the wall, then go to cabinet shop and give them your measurements and style of cabinet you want
