Re: [ laundry-living ] -- simplest & most helpful way to sort dirty and clean laundry

Senior in laws like washing undies in the sink. So I have hangers that have 8 clothespins in a row. That way they can dry several undies all at once in the bathroom.

I wasn't sure what you meant by labels, but if like Druidia thought, you meant care labels, then you shouldn't ignore them. The only care labels that are pretty meaningless are instructions to 'dry-clean' designer white cotton t-shirts. Silk can be washed, also, but some dyes may run depending on hot or cold water.

The heat of the dryer wears out clothes the most. Hang what you can to dry.
