Kitchen Faucet

The old kitchen was completely torn out. I'm about done leveling the base cabinets. I use a laser, story stick, and the EZ-Level system. How I ever did my installs any other way, I have no clue. Anyway, I have to make a decision soon about whether or not to purchase a single hole spray faucet (pull out being considered) or go conventional with a 3 hole. The sub that is going to install the granite top needs to know since he will be the one cutting the holes. Any suggestions about faucet brands or options would be appreciated. I'm already over budget and am reluctant to spend more than $200. This will only be a single basin sink - 9" deep & 21"x16" (ID) I have space issues so my sink base is only 30". Thanks.

I took a look in the posting rules and didn't see anything to say I couldn't use a brand name.

Therefore I have always been a Moen man and will continue to be.
They have a great product and if a leak eventually shows up they will supply a new cartridge free of charge.

I think a 3-hole faucet looks funny in a granite countertop. To me, 1- hole is the way to go. I like Delta or Moen

Thanks to all. Single hole is what I was aiming at and that is the consensus. This is a great forum.

A small tip for the future no matter what kind you purchase. Put the paper work in the safety deposit box for future reference because some day you'll be ask for the mod. no. or part no., brand or all the above and the manufacturers are terrible about providing that on their shining new product.

you may want 2 holes. 1 for the faucet, and 1 for the soap dispenser. though a 2nd hole can be addded later, pretty easily.

Update... I looked at American Standard, Delta, & Moen before finally choosing...a Kohler which can be seen here. The action re the spigot and the engineering regarding the pullout convinced me. Plus it was on sale at HD.
