Ceramic? Stone? Porceline? Ceiling tiles? Walls? Floor? Substrate? Mastic? Morter? Age?

It takes a lot of force to break up those pieces. You basically lift from a corner, tilt it to come out on the opposite corner.

If the drop ceiling was installed at min. distance. Usually Fiberglass units with a plastic covering over them will be used, so that there is more flex to them.

Just remember that it is a messy job getting the fiber style panels out.

"Ceiling tile" doesn't help. What are they made of?
Are these stapled up tiles?
Ceramic tiles?
Drop in tiles in a grid?
