How to remove old countertop supports if I have to

These are my old overhang supports. I don't see a good way to remove and replace with something nicer without ripping my wall down. Any ideas? I am fine to leave them I guess, but one seems a tad high and I'm thinking my countertop guy will tell me to lower it and I don't see a good way to do that either.

If you are just looking to cut them off flush with the top, a disc grinder will do the job. Maybe even a saws-all with the right blade. You can rent them if you don't have one.

The counter top installers may or may not use the supports and shim accordingly. They would put down a support board first, then the granite or whatever you are having installed. If not, cut them off.

I'd just keep em.. If they aren't even, they can shim as someone else said.. Will you see them after the countertop is on?

Mine is shimmed.. But you never know cause nobody ever looks underneath
