How to find out if this are Load Bearing?

There are 3 collums in my front entry way. I call it a Corral. I want it all removed to open it up. Is there a way to find out without calling an engineer? Thanks

Those are decorative. Load bearing would be a steel or solid uniform post. These are just railings. I agree they need to go. Kind of wonder what someone was thinking

What were they thinking is the point. Supporting posts should be the right kinds of materials but who knows what they were thinking? I wouldn't remove them without knowing what kinds of beams they are. The post under the intersection is esp suspect.

If this is a one story house, there is a good chance that those might not be supporting anything. If you have access to the roof structure, you may be able to see if you have roof trusses, or a stick built structure. Most roof trusses are supported by the ends only.
