House is sold!

Hey gang,

After seven and a half years of picking away at the projects of a solid but outdated estate house, we closed yesterday and can now celebrate that the money is in the bank.

We did not go too hog wild on this project. Gutted basement down to studs and reconfigured, redid main floor bathes and added a 3/4 shower to master, and reconfigured the kitchen, moving some walls and doorways. All within the scope of this pretty good DIYer (thanks to the DIY Chatroom gang). Just remember that when you are up to your ears in the crappiest project that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

We are currently living in the sister in law's basement looking for our next fixxer upper project. The city that we lived in and are looking in again is hella overpriced. Yeah on the selling end, boo on the buying end. I may have a summer where I am not a slave to the house.

I'll be back...

Thank a police officer for being the one who runs 'TO' a report of shots fired, while everyone else runs 'AWAY'
