Help to convert a blanket box/cupboard into a desk

Hi Iíd love anyone with any ideas on how to adapt this cupboard into a desk. My ideas are just basic, like removing the doors and shelves. Maybe incorporate cpl basket storage boxes inside! Ideally, you need a pair, so that you can have room between them for your knees.

What do you have other than this cupboard, and wheels?

I would be getting a large melamine top, and placing it atop, a pair, and using more framing and lumber to add on to that.

A couple of questions. Is the cupboard top desk height? Is it presently constructed so the shelves stabilize the cupboard and removing them would jeopardize the sturdiness?

Re: Help to convert a blanket box/cupboard into a desk

Hi Guys thanks for getting back to me.

It is desk high, like the idea of putting a melamine top on though not too big, I donít have a lot of room in my room.

Itís also very sturdy so I could remove the shelf etc with no adverse effects.

Thanks
