Framing slanted window in shower

Hello all,

I am redoing my master bath and I just finished putting the backer back on.
The exiting window is slanted there is 5/8" difference from the top to the bottom of the block window which is appox 24" square. I was thinking putting an addition piece of wood at the back of the wall at the top to make up for the difference and have the frame square. but if I do that both my side wall will be uneven by the same amount... which might be a problem for tiling 5/8 is quite a bit of difference... Any ideas beside removing the window.

Thanks a bunch

Re: Framing slanted window in shower

Do you mean out of "plumb"?

If so, tile up to the window and cover the inconsistency with some trim tiles at the edge. Should help bury the elongated gap.
