Enclosed carport for garage.. Wall removal question

I have framed in my attached carport to make a garage. There was a small wall with two doors that I started removing. The trusses were running perpendicular to the wall. I saw no signs of this being a load bearing wallbother than that. It was on a concrete slab . When I started cutting with a Sawzall it never bound or anything. I don't see a sign of a header for support either. There is a span of 28' with only one 2x4 up top which I assume was for the wall that was there. It's only about 4' from the exterior wall which runs parallel. I checked the attic as there is a similar span through the dining room (older ranch home) and there are no beams or attic supports. I feel like I am ok. Any thoughts? Should I be concerned?
