Durock ?

Should I use modified for unmodified thinset to seam the gaps after durock is installed?

I plan on using RedGard prior to tiling to I need to fill the seams now.

Thanks!!

Fill the seams before putting on the RedGard. Besides thinset, also use mesh tape. I don't think modified or unmodified thinset makes any difference. I've always used whatever I was going to use for installing the tiles.

Best to use tilers mesh---it's alkali resistant---look for it in the tile section of the store
