Double Barn Doors

Hi! We are installing a double barn door. We are just about finished but for some reason the doors don't match up when closed. They touch together at the bottom but not at the top which leaves a gap. We checked and checked again the level of the hardware and it's level.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Re: Double Barn Doors

If it's not the track, then it must be the hangars. With the standard kits they have for interior barn doors, there is no easy adjustment. I would check each door with a level and figure out if one or the other is out of whack. Then take the offending door down and adjust the hangars. You'll probably have to enlarge the bolt holes to give yourself a little wriggle room.

The doors aren't plum.

Most are adjustable via cam action of the wheels, whose axles are concentric.
