What can I change an old crib swing into?

I have an old crib swing my wife grandfather hand built and we would like to convert it into another piece of furniture. I can't come up with any ideas. I'll have to upload photos later. I need one post prior to loading photos.

We have an antique one, different, with solid sides about halfway, but otherwise quite similar, that we have a few potted plants in.

Thanks for the ideas. The two pieces do come apart. I was thinking small shelve.

Entertainment center, hang a flat screen on it, and store the D V R , cable box, etc. in the bed.

It's too fragile to support an aquarium.

Display a few dolls, stuffed toys, or something from her childhood.

Use it in the entryway as a storage for your winter coat, shoes etc.

If it doesn't have much sentimental value.
Donate it to a family who could really use it.
