My preference would be a multimaster with a metal cutting blade. It will cut the wood as well as the obvious nails holding it together. Yes, the metal angles are, or were, there for the drawer to glide on, but it looks as if the nylon buttons have worn thin.

Score the cut mark first then use a flat blade saw. Power saw could leave too much damage/shake the cabinet.
