Weed Eater riding mower model 259723

Hello Folks; The Idler Arm Pully Spring has broken off and I am trying to find out where the new one connects to. The schematic shows the spring but not where it connects to. Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance. This is a Weed Eater Riding Mower Model 259723.

I can't find any schematic better than you probably have.

I believe I'm correct in saying this. If it's for blade engagement and is a manual lever engagement, the spring will be slack in the disengaged position and have tension in the engaged position.
If the blade is electric engagement the idler spring will always be tensioned.

I might suggest hooking the spring into the hole in the bracket and look for another hole in close proximity to spring length for the opposite end of the spring. Once again manual PTO engagement or electric clutch will be a factor.

If I find anything better I'll be back.
