A Christmas miracle!!!

OMG, I can't believe it.

Wish I could post sounds here. This was better than a present......my mower started.

Bought carb spray. Took air filter off, then figured what do I have to lose so took the housing thing that holds the air filter off. One little 1/2" metal tube fell off but I even knew it was a spacer and guessed where it fell from.

Then I sprayed the heck out of everything I could see. I was ABSOLUTELY shocked when the mower started. Its too early and wet to mow so hope I haven't jinxed myself and it starts again in a few hours.

Thank you thank you thank you.

PS
Why did mower repair shop say not to use Seafoam? Normally the first thing I would do is dump a little in gas tank.

Because if you did that they would loose a lot of carb cleaning jobs. You can pour that stuff straight into the carb and it will clean it good.

Rats!

All happy, brimming with confidence and ready to finish mowing today but no. The mower gods were frowning upon me. The mower wouldn't start. Poured a tablespoon of Seafoam in gas tank, waited a few minutes and it started right up. Whew.
