Our newly built 1y old brick wall looks pretty rough:
Pic 1 and 2 - missing grout and final finish ??
Pic 3 and 4 - multiple cracks on the brick throughout the house.
What's your opinion, should it be taken down, attempted a repair or to quote my builder: "It's fine, nothing to worry about"??
I'm not seeing anything of concern. Looks like a neatly done job. Someone really took their time on it. Those cracks are probably just surface cracks created during the firing process.
Improper soil compaction at footing level can cause those issues. Cracking from laying too fast is often associated with brick laying during cold weather.
