Grading Question

I need to do some grading work around my newly purchased home this spring.

I understand the code to require:

- 8 from non treated wood (structure, sheathing, siding) to ground

- 6 from treated wood to ground

- 2 from either treated or non-treated wood to properly sloped impervious surface like concrete

- Lots shall be graded to drain surface water away from foundation walls. The grade shall fall a minimum of 6 inches (152 mm)within the first 10 feet (3048 mm)

Do I have this right?
