PVC sliding patio door....Is this normal?

Hello all

I'm remodeling my kitchen, and drywall has been pulled out
I noticed something that seems strange to me:
The patio door (sliding PVC - Jeld Wen apparently) is attached to the framing on the top with only 1 screw (on the right corner)
Should not it be secured with more than 1 screw?
If I need to add some more, which screws should I get?
Thanks

Post a picture so we can see what your seeing.
There should be no screws at the top, only in the jambs on the sides.

If you put more screws in the top of that door, it may take it out of level or plumb & might cause door problems.

The door likely has a nailing fin and is attached to the exterior side of the wall with many fasteners. Can't say if your directions called for any along the jambs. Not many people follow directions anyway.

The installers were probably near the end of the job & they figured that one screw in the top wouldn't hurt. Let's finish & go.

I agree with @XSleeper , it likely has a fin and the one screw was placed there to solve a fit problem.

I just had two vinyl sliding doors removed and replaced with French doors . Both sliders had a nail flange on them . There was no indication of what brand they were but I would guess yours is the same .
