questions about incapusluating basement

Looking to encapsulate a crawl space unde addition. Crawl space is only accessible from the outside.
1. It has a poured concrete floor should I still cover it with vapor barior?
2. It has about 1 ft high concrete walls what should I insulate them with.
3. It has another 3 ft of standard 2x6 ext walls. Will standard fiberglass insulation work for those.
4. Heat runs are another matter. I can install a heat vent but bot a return. Even if I skip this step will it still be better then nothing.

1. Not needed if there are no water issues inside the crawl and moisture management is proper.

2. Rigid foam or Spray foam work best.

3. Yes, but I would consider rigid here as well to help with the air tightness and thermal break.

4. You can install a heat vent and most times a return is not needed if the amount of supply air is small.

New plan. I want to spray foam the entire crawl space. Walls and the ceiling which is the floor of my living room.

Are there any downsides to this approach?

Other than not being correct...?

You don't need to spray foam the ceiling if you insulate the walls properly.

After looking into it more insulating the walls is what I decided to do. I was originally worried about the plywood door to the outside but I figured out how to beef that up too.

Eventualy i will run a heat run in there, but for now I am going to use the leakage form the HVAC in there already to heat the space.

You won't need much heat to keep it warm if it is airtight.

Pop a couple of drill holes in a supply side and you will be fine.
