Help with sensor insulation

Hello guys! They've installed some digital meters on radiant heaters in my flat last week and I'm trying to figure out if its possible to insulate it without using montage foams etc. to reduce the amount of tracked heat. The meter has been attached with screw and nut. (see picture) Thanks for any suggestions!

Re: Help with sensor insulation

Are you trying to get around your responsibility of paying for your heat? No help here, if that is the case. That unit uses the probe to detect heat, so it would be almost impossible to isolate it from the source.
