Fireblocking/insulation two part question

1. I decided to go with durofoam on the concrete wall. then will frame infront of it, and add safe and sound insulation. I have been reading about fireblocking - would roxul safe and sound in the joists be sufficient? Do i need to cover across the concrete to durofoam to the wall stud? What material would i use for it? or again, could roxul it.

2. I have a crawl space I want to finish which is attached to the main basement. I want to turn it into a kids lounge area. There is a heating/cooling vent on the wall which is pretty much to the wall. I wont be able to fit the durofoam all the way up the wall as there is a vent in the way, so i was thinking of insulalting up to the line where i would create the bottom of the soffit. then build a soffit using osb? or could i use 2 x4? again, should i fireblock the top edge where the durofoam would stop. underneath the soffit would be storage. inside the soffit, would be the vent and concrete wall, as i would not be able to fit the 2 x 4's due to space from the vent to the concrete wall. My concern is moisture issues, would this be something to concern myself with? the one end would be open to other half of the crawl space.

Sorry if this seems cluttered, and i can clarify. trying to type this quickly as i promised my 6 year old i would play him in a game of Sorry after typing this question, ha.

any help is greatly appreciated.

PS. the durofoam is already bought and put up in main part of basement, so i can't be talked out of it

17,000 dryer fires a year, when did you last clean the inside of the dryer near motor or the exhaust ducting?
