Can I use leftover pieces of batt insulation on walls

Hi guys. Can I put pieces like this together into the bays below the windows?

If I cannot then I have to buy more insulation.

Any advice on what to do is appreciated.

I just pushed it all together in the bays so I can easily pull them out

Might want to put some paper over the uncovered areas as a vapor retarder. Either extra paper from areas where you may have pulled the insulation off, or house wrap or even light tar paper will work.

In lieu of paper, I have used large trash bags, stapled to the studs, and Duct tape at the seams between the shorties.

Done quite a lot actually, if you take care of the airgaps, it works well.

Thanks guys. Iíll clean them up and staple them down and I do have duct tape and a thick trash bag for the unfazed part. Thanks for the quick responses.
