Air sealing 1x10 sheathing

I'm working on a house with 1x10 sheathing. My initial plan was closed cell foam in exterior walls but am having second thoughts. The house is tyveked and most of the siding is on. My question is do I need to do some sort of additional air barrier over the sheathing joints if I don't have foam put in or is tyvek enough? It seems like it could use something more but maybe I'm over thinking it. If something else is needed I'm open to suggestions.

Re: Air sealing 1x10 sheathing

Although the sheathing can help with preventing air leakage the drywall is more often the actual air barrier. With tyvek in place, if it was taped and sealed top and bottom you should be pretty good. What is your target?

+1 to Bud's comments.

The drywall is really the conditioned space air barrier at that point. If you detail it out, you can make for a really tight shell.

You can take care of things like the backsides of electrical outlets and penetrations prior to the drywall to help button up stuff and you can spray foam larger gaps and in the sheathing if you want. If there were some big gaps and a siding type that was more prone to allow air to move around it (i.e. hollow back vinyl), you could install a small layer of foam in between the studs and seal to the studs.
