Looking for a good Grub control/exterminating product

Have treated the lawn, in the Spring, with a product from Bayer to control lawn grubs. Birds and squirrels seemed to eat the granules (??). Read that the lawn should be treated in the fall (around now) - in Boston, MA. So, I'm looking for a possibly better product. Anyone know of a more effective product???

Thanks

Re: Looking for a good Grub control/exterminating product

I've had really good luck with Bayer Advanced Season Long Grub control. There are two different grub controls from Bayer. This one has Merit and is effective control for grubs.

In our area, I've only found this at Lowes. I also typically put it down in July / early August, but it's not too late. It needs to be watered in after you apply it.
