Help with fans and duct compatibility for my growth tent

I'm shopping for my first fan. I was wondering if you could help clarify a few things for me. Sorry for the long post.

Sample duct for use with the below fans: https://www.amazon.com/iPower-Non-Insulated-Aluminum-Ventilation-included/dp/B008NY6P36

For this fan, can I connect an insulated or non-insulated flex duct to either fan opening? Or does this fan only allow the duct to be connected to one of the opening?

For this fan, can I connect the sample duct linked above to this fan at all? Or does this fan only take PVC flexible duct hosing? I've read reviews that the PVC flexible duct hosing will give off a nasty smell. Can duct be mounted to either opening of the fan? Or the duct is only limited to mounting to one of the opening of the fan?

I prefer this fan over the other two, because this fan can do up to 2000 CFM. Practically double what the other two fans can do. I'm just afraid that PVC flexible duct hosing is the only compatible option (https://www.amazon.com/MOUNTO-Flexible-Hosing-Exhaust-12inch/dp/B01N1Y90QQ)

I understand that the title says 900 CFM, but similar style of fan can do a bit over 2000 CFM and if you scroll down the manufacturer spec, it's actually is 2000 CFM.

What is the best method and or material to use to securely connect a duct to these fans? Multiple layers of aluminum foil tape design for HVAC and ducts? I'm looking for a solution that will keep air leak to a minimum. If possible 0% air leak.

Thanks.
