Drain for garden shower

Hello,
Iím building a garden shower and I need to create some type of drainage so that it doesnít create puddles. How do I do it? Should I just make a hole and fill it with rocks and then cover it with a base to stand on? Thanks

That is what I would do, line the hole with landscape fabric so dirt doesn't flow back in the hole and plug the gravel.

I'll attempt to solve your dilemma if you are between 21 and 25 years of age, are female, have a body that would qualify in a Miss America pageant and will promise to post a full length selfie wearing a bikini.

Re: Drain for garden shower

any drain that will work for you will be good.
the plastic stand is a "slip-n-fall" waiting to happen.
I would make a wood platform sitting on a rock base to keep it off the dirt
that is only a couple of inches off the ground similar to a cargo pallet.
not only will it look great, it will be safe. . . .
great job on building the shower box itself.

The plastic box is only to check the height, I made it too short so I will have to make it stand on some bricks, my idea was also to put a wooden base or maybe even just leaving gravel, anyhow glad you like it itís one of my first diy projects

Plant a post in the gravel and bolt your timber to that so you keep it off the ground.
