1950's Cinder block lake house with 1100 sq. ft.
I inherited this little lake house in 2009. And would you believe that it appraised for $500k in Jan 08 as is, and now it wouldn't bring $200k. It had been a rental for the pass 10 years, now it's vacate I'll be able to make many much needed improvements. Although my budget is very tight and I'm having to do as much of the work myself, which it's a labor of love!

In January 08 a thunder storm came through and blew a large cypress tree across the front right corner of the house. You can still see the patch work that still needs finishing. We had another cypress fall on the house in April 2010 this tree was from our neighbor yard. Who would of ever thought the this little house would have been hit with 2 big cypress within 2 years apart. I must say that it's one TOUGH Cinder Block House!

I'm hoping to rent it out by the week or weekends when all repairs are complete!
