If one travels the highways and byways of the Internet Do It Yourself Forums in search of a How To Build A Shower one would likely suffer from confusion in a short time. Let me try to confuse you even more.

These days there is more than one method used to construct a shower. Several of the methods are excellent if you follow some rules. By the way...there are rules. The TCNA (Tile Council of North America) (http://www.tileusa.com/publication_main.htm) offers a publication that contains...

Here's another recognizable slogan: "Let's Build Something Together". This is yet another encouraging slogan from a well known source. There are others of course. It is not my intention to single out these two organizations without saying there is plenty of blame to go around....

Frequently I see DIYers asking about which thinset to use for what. Confusion abounds on all forums and thinset mortar tile adhesives can be easily misunderstood. It's not surprising given what has happened during recent years with the tile industry.

Don't worry about being confused when it comes to tiling and using thinsets, everyone is confused. I know I am. The market has exploded during the past several years with alleged "new and improved" tiling products.
