How to build a shed base

Hi,

My name is Paul, I'm fairly new to the DIY scene but recently built my own garden shed and constructed the foundation base myself.

I struggled so much with the base until I found this useful guide (below) that helps with both concrete and paving slab bases.

Just thought I would share it here as my first post and hope to find loads more advice now I'm a member. Hope it helps you guys too like it did me

Here's the link - How to build a shed base: http://www.gardenbuildingsdirect.co....d-a-shed-base/

Sure attacks the basic approach but I suspect any novice introduced to that concrete pour got the lesson of his life if he followed the instructions to mix it dry/stiff and working by himself on a 95 day.

No chit, did that myself on a 98F day and could barely get the thing floated and the edges done before it started to set up. That and damn near passed out from heat exhaustion in the process.
