US Power Grid - where does your power come from?
Here in the UK, National Grid - the company that runs the electricity utility grid - publish the details of where the electricity comes from across the country, updated every five minutes throughout the day.
I've used the information to produce this: http://www.owningelectriccar.com/uknationalgrid.aspx - it's a web site telling electric car owners whether it is a good time to plug their car in to charge up or not.
I'd love to do something similar for the US, but I can't find any data feeds anywhere. Does anyone know of any thing similar in the US, or any company publishing this sort of data?
