Who is liable for the roof repair?

Our neighbours bedroom extends under our roof - we live in old houses that kind of overlap and kind of jigsaw together in places.

Due to a leak in the roof, water is getting into her bedroom and she wants us to fix the roof.

It is our roof but as part of her room extends underneath it should she be liable to pay any of the repair costs as effectively its our roof thats keeping her dry at night ?

Anyone with any knowledge of these things please help!

Where are you located?

Are the 2 roofs. houses, Apts (?) joined at all?

This is the 4th or 5th forum that I have seen you post that same question and all you are going to get is uninformed opinions.
