When is shingle up lift normal

I will try and get a pic today- I have a 13 year old roof, it is the architect type asphalt shingles. I noticed that two shingles right on the edge of the roof are starting to lift up. When should i be concerned, what is something I can look for. This is the only spot I can see.

Not much we can tell you without seeing it. Anytime shingles are lifting up you need to be concerned to some degree. If they aren't sealed down properly a good wind can take them away. Lifting is also a sign of age on a shingle also.

Don't know much without seeing it.

I went over the whole roof and I found these shingles lifting up. Minor lift but want to know what action to take , if any at all. The shingles in question are above the left arm of my stabilizer.

Looks like the wind caught them. It lifted the little scrap one and, in turn, that one lifted the corner above it. Little dab of asphalt and some sun may lay it back down.

Dollar to a doughnut, you will find nails popping up under those shingles. Lift the tab carefully, and pop the nails out with a wonder bar. Set the tabs in a half dollar sized dab of urethane sealant over the nail holes, and weight them down overnight with a plank bucked up to the ladder. Tie off the ladder well to a gutter bracket.

Other than that your roof looks really good. Good pictures. You walked this roof????? You must be a Mountain Goat

Not really walked it. Did some sloaping with my sponge. Went up over to the left, I screwed boards through the shingles. Not as bad as it looks really.

Well you should have used roof jacks. ( Slap, Slap) Now you have to bib them with ASTM D-226 Type 2 felt and roof cement.
